About Us
The Warren County Chamber of Business & Industry (WCCBI) was formed on January 1, 2003 through the merger of the Warren County Chamber of Commerce and the Warren County Development Association. This merger was developed to ensure that a cohesive and effective delivery mechanism for business, community and economic development was provided for Warren County. Further, an elimination of service redundancy and ease of entry to development assistance programs was required to maximize resource allocation.
The WCCBI has grown into a multi-faceted organization providing businesses throughout Warren County with "traditional" Chamber of Commerce services while also serving the county as the designated Lead Economic Development Agency. The WCCBI has also become actively involved in the expansion of tourism-based visitation to Warren County through the formation of the Warren County Council on Tourism.
On the Chamber of Commerce side of the operation, business marketing services and professional networking opportunities abound. The "Chamber" works tirelessly to expose local businesses to one another and to the world. Member listings and hyper-links on the WCCBI web- provide free exposure for local businesses for both fellow Warren County business and resident contacts as well as to potential new clients from around the globe.
The WCCBI is a member-based organization and relies on the revenues received through membership investments to maintain and deliver appropriate, value-added programming across the county. Additionally, operating revenues are developed through the operation of the Warren County Industrial Complex, a multi-tenant business development incubator facility owned by the organization.
The WCCBI mission statement is clear and concise ... "WCCBI; leading Warren County to economic and community excellence."
